Due to the organic origin of raw materials and the fully manual crafting process, each kuripe stands out with a unique character. Individual pieces may differ from one another in the shade and grain of the chonta wood, the exact arrangement of beads, and the coloration of the feathers – due to the handmade nature and natural origin of the materials, feather colors and patterns may slightly vary from the pictures. These unique features serve as authentic proof of the nobility of the materials and the unrepeatable work of human hands.
Las Szamana presents a unique piece of Amazonian craftsmanship, Kuripe Espíritu. Crafted from hard chonta wood (Astrocaryum chonta), sculpted into a bird shape with a metallic eye, and decorated with traditional beadwork and light ceremonial feathers, it captivates with its depth and spiritual expression. In tribal tradition, the bird spirit and feathers symbolize freedom, connection to the unseen world, space cleansing, and spiritual flight. Kuripe is used for self-application of medicine, allowing for intimate work with intention and transformation.
