Such a large amount of Ammonites in one structure is an amazing rarity.
It's fair to say that the sculpture we own is a work of art.
Organisms and minerals that are found in the structure reach up to 400 million years.
At some auctions you can buy a single specimen of 5-10cm Ammonite fossils for $ 500-3000.
After purchase, we send the specimen in a large wooden crate.
Ammonites, ammonites (Ammonoidea) - a subset of extinct cephalopods (Cephalopoda), usually with asymmetrical, flat-spiraled shell. Few types had unusual shapes, e.g. a simple shell, a spiral coiled vertically, a spiral with non-contact twists. Such forms, called heteromorphs, occurred mainly at the beginning of the development of ammonites (early and middle Devonian) and in Cretaceous. Ammonites are important guide fossils that determine the age of sedimentary rocks in which they are found. They occur in rocks of sea origin from the Devonian to the end of the Cretaceous.
