Due to the fully manual carving process, the fact that the kuripe is painted black, and the natural properties of the mineral, each kuripe possesses unique characteristics. Individual pieces may vary in the saturation of the black finish, the subtle visibility of underlying stone tones, the natural vein patterns within the serpentine stone, and the fine nuances of hand-polished feather details and hummingbird contours. These qualities attest to the authenticity of genuine hand craftsmanship and natural materials.
Las Szamana presents an extraordinary piece of Peruvian stone carving art – Kuripe Espíritu del Colibrí. Crafted entirely from noble serpentine stone, it channels the deep symbolism of the hummingbird.
